With an appreciation for music across various styles and periods, Sam enjoys producing for artists of all kinds, embracing new, creative, and exciting ideas to move music forward, while retaining an appreciation for, and paying homage to, music of the past. This allows him to work in any genre, with an awareness towards mainstream accessibility, whilst staying true to the artist's vision.

Engineering

Sam’s attention to detail allows for maximum flexibility to fulfil the artist’s vision and experiment along the way, incorporating everything from standard practices to abstract concepts, staying clear of a “fix it in the mix” mindset.

Comfortable with the analogue workflows of inline SSL consoles, Sam has hands-on experience with analog gear of various types.

With a passion for flexibility and versatility, Sam is competent with Pro Tools, Logic Pro, and Ableton Live

Mixing

With an approach to always do the piece justice, Sam embraces all that it has to offer to make it the best it can be, from emulating the iconic sound of a classic record, to embracing digital flexibilities for a more modern flavour on productions.

Using a fully “in the box” approach, mixes are more consistent, with a faster turnaround than purely analog and hybrid approaches, so artist collaboration is smooth and seamless, bringing your vision into reality more effectively and quickly.
